Quick answer
What is a mobile proxy?
A mobile proxy is a relay that sends your traffic through a 4G/5G modem with a carrier SIM, so sites see a cellular IP. Lodestate rents dedicated US ports on T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon from $3.75/day and rotating mobile data from $1.50/GB as of November 2026. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto.

How does a mobile proxy work?
A mobile proxy is a 4G/5G modem on a carrier SIM that forwards your requests, so they leave through the carrier's network. Your tool connects to the port's host and port with a username and password. The modem sends each request over the cellular link, and the target sees an IP from the carrier's pool.
When the modem reconnects, the carrier hands it another IP: that is a rotation. Each rotation reconnects your port to the carrier and usually takes 5–15 seconds; the carrier may occasionally hand back the same IP: just rotate again. The full method is in how do I rotate a mobile proxy IP.
Why do websites rarely block mobile proxy IPs?
A mobile IP is trusted because blocking it would also block a crowd of real phone users. Carriers run carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT), and RFC 6598 reserves 100.64.0.0/10 as shared address space for it. Behind CGNAT, one public IPv4 address "may represent hundreds or even thousands of users", Cloudflare wrote in October 2025. A ban on that address locks out paying subscribers, so sites prefer to slow it down.
The caveat is real. Cloudflare found that CGNAT addresses are rate-limited about 3 times more often than other IPs. Mobile IPs are trusted, not immune. T-Mobile US also runs an IPv6-only network with 464XLAT (Wikipedia), so its IPv4 traffic leaves through shared carrier gateways too.
Which US carriers sit behind a mobile proxy?
In the US, mobile proxy IPs come from T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon, the three national networks. Smaller brands (MVNOs) rent capacity on those networks, so their traffic exits through the host carrier.
