Quick answer
Which US proxy providers don't require KYC?
Lodestate sells no-KYC US proxies: no ID, no selfie, no documents, and an account number instead of an email. Residential traffic costs $1.50 for 1 GB, paid in crypto. On 29 October 2026, 10 of 20 US sellers checked also sold a standard plan to crypto payers without a KYC step. No KYC does not mean no rules.
What does Lodestate ask a new buyer for?
| ID documents | None: no ID, no selfie, no documents |
|---|---|
| Account | Account-number login; email is optional |
| Recovery | Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered |
| Payment | Crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, from $25 |
| Delivery | Credentials appear in your dashboard as soon as you buy a plan from your confirmed crypto balance |
| Blocked targets | Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 |
| Abuse handling | Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension |
| Operator | ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA) |
What does "no KYC" mean for a US proxy buyer?
No KYC means you buy without proving who you are: no passport, no driver's license, no selfie and no company papers. You open an account, top up in crypto and buy a plan. Credentials appear as soon as the top-up is confirmed.
The benefit is privacy and speed. There is no document to upload, no review queue and no stored copy of your ID that could leak. It does not change the rules of use, which apply to every buyer.
Which US proxy sellers ask for ID, and when?
According to Lodestate's check of 29 October 2026, only 3 of the 20 US proxy sellers stated in writing that they require no KYC. They were NodeMaven (standard plans), Shifter and VoidMob. Four more did not mention KYC on the pages read. Five verified every buyer of their main product, SOAX verified every crypto payer, and six checked only some cases.

Is crypto without KYC rare among US proxy sellers?
No: 10 of the 20 sellers checked sold a standard plan to crypto payers without a KYC step. Paying in crypto is not the same as skipping ID, though. SOAX took crypto but asked every crypto payer for personal ID, and Thordata reviewed every new user.
The rarer mix is crypto, no standard KYC and full US targeting at no extra cost. Only Decodo and ProxyEmpire showed state, city and ZIP targeting with crypto and no standard KYC. Lodestate adds ASN targeting on every plan. The payment side is covered in where can I buy US proxies with crypto.
Why do some US proxy sellers require KYC?
KYC is a seller's choice to know each customer before it sells access. Bright Data's Residential network requires company KYC for zones created after 7 July 2026, and its docs say personal-email accounts cannot be approved. Its ISP, Datacenter and Web Unlocker access is still sold without KYC. Details are in does Bright Data accept crypto.
Other sellers check only risky cases: restricted targets, flagged accounts or large orders. Lodestate relies on rules instead of documents, set out in the next answer.
How does Lodestate handle abuse without ID checks?
Lodestate replaces ID checks with blocked targets, human review of abuse reports and suspension for confirmed abuse.
- Blocked on every product: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587.
- Abuse reports: Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension.
- Records: We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy.
- IP sourcing: We resell residential and mobile IPs from established upstream partner networks. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA.
The full rules are in what is allowed on Lodestate proxies, and the IP supply is described on where do Lodestate IPs come from.
Is it legal to buy US proxies without ID?
Yes: buying a proxy service without showing ID is legal in the US, and what matters is how the proxy is used. Using a proxy is generally lawful. Fraud, unauthorized access and spam stay illegal with or without one. This is not legal advice.
Prices and KYC rules of all 20 sellers sit side by side in the US proxy price index. Lodestate prices are on how much do US proxies cost.
